Congratulations to Samantha Fuhrey of Newton County Schools for being named the 2020 Georgia Superintendent of the Year. The announcement and the award was presented to Mrs. Fuhrey on December 6th at the GSBA/GSSA Annual Conference in Atlanta. Fuhrey has now been selected as one of the four national finalists for National Superintendent of the Year out of the rest of the state finalists from across the nation . The National Superintendent of the Year award will be announced at the AASA Annual Conference in San Diego February 12-14, 2020.
