Congratulations to Georgia’s 2016 Superintendent of the Year!!! – Scott Cowart of Carroll County Schools

The 2016 GSSA/AASA Superintendent of the Year representing Georgia in the national competition is Mr. Scott Cowart superintendent of the Carroll County Schools.Congratulations to Mr. Cowart, the Carroll County Board of Education, and the Carroll County Community.  Mr. Cowart will now compete in the AASA national selection process where the national SOY will be named at the AASA National Conference in Phoenix, Arizona February 11-13.  Georgia has had a very good track record the last two years in the SOY selection process.  We have either had a national finalist or a national winner. We know Mr.Cowart will represent Georgia very well at the national level.
